Logout javascript action in discussion database

I am using the template discsw7.ntf to create a little discussion database for a small committee. Most of the committee members do not work here and, therefore, will be accessing the application from the web. This also means I don’t know what operating systems, etc. they have but I am going to concentrate on Intel based computers.

Users, via the web, have a user name and password to get into this application.

I want to create an Action to logout from within the Views (like New Topic or New Response buttons). This needs to work from the web. Can anyone help me with javascript to accomplish this?
