?Logout does not seem to work

Hey All,

I have a web app that has a link in it that looks like:

window.top.location="http://host/path/db.nsf?logout

This appears to work in the sense that I get redirected to my default page from the server doc.

However, if I click the link in the main page (This main page is a different *.nsf than the one that I call the ?logout from) that takes me to the DB that has authentication required, however the session persists. It was my understanding that ?logout would kill the session I previously had?

Is that not correct?

Thanks,

Shawn

Hi

Remember that authentication i hierarchical, so if you logout of a database in a branch, you may still be able to access a database at a higher level.

Try a logout of the names.nsf database instead.

Hey jesper,

Thanks for the feedback.

I was able to get it using JS in an action hotspot instead of a link hotspot.

Thanks,
