Login using SSL

After a server update from 8.5 to 8.5.1, activation of the traveller and an update of the ssl certificate, I’m unable to login using SSL.If I access the server “https://host/names.nsf” the login page does not accept my login & password.

If I try it without ssl using “http://host/names.nsf” it works.

The weird thing is, if I try to access the same url again using ssl “https://host/names.nsf” the login reappears an I can now login sucessfully.

I’m using session authentication for a single server and it worked before the updates. The problem is reproducible on IE and Firefox.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Check to see if Internet Site Documents got enabled. Sometimes this will change the login behavior. You can create a Session Authentication Override rule for the Internet Site document and apply it to * for URL pattern. This will restore behavior to like it was before the I-Site docs were created.

Hope this helps.
