Login to Notes using operating system

Hi all,can anyone tell me? How does it work? It is Login to Notes using Operating system. Basically you can find it in notes under File->security-> user security.

it is supposed to be synchronize notes password with OS and vise-versa. I don’t see it is working. If i login as a Domain user it is greyed out(disabled). If i login as Domain Adminsitrator it works fine. Is it this one is only for user having full admin access to their machine. Bad IBM design. Pleas any one of IBM guys can comment on this.

If i am going wrong anywhere can anyone shed some light… appreciate this forums help and expertise.

Cheers

Sri.
