Login screen with pop-up window

When the user tries to access an application, a login form appears. This login form has an onload event scripts that loads a pop-up window.

Once this pop-up window is closed and the user has login. The user can use the application. When logging out, the command:

host/names.nsf?logout

is triggered

then the login screen reappears. However as this form has the pop-up screen script in the onload event mentioned above, the pop-up window re-appears again.

Is there a way to prevent the pop-up window from appearing when the user logs out (only have it appearing during login)?

try using @UserName. When the user is not logged in initially this function may return blank or Anonymous. You can hide the java script code which throws popup window using this value.
