Hello everybody,
I have a login problem, the user is in an account with his email address in short Name like this : “prince.arfang@hotmail.fr”
but it don’t work with the Domino login.
Where is the source of the trouble ? is because ‘@’ or ‘.’ ?

When logging in via the web there is a security setting within the server document that may play in here. (domino restart may be necessary for this change to take affect)
Server Document >> Security Tab >> “internet authentication” field
*** Note: Click and hold the mouse button on the “internet authentication” text and mouseover help will appear with more details on this setting
*** Searching admin help on the term “fewer name variations” will return more details on this setting
This field has 2 settings: “Fewer name variations with Higher security” and “More name variations with lower security”
For your purposes, when using the shortname for authentication, “fewer name variations” does NOT allow shortname for authentication, while the “more name variations” setting DOES allow the shortname to be used for authentication.
Note: you can also add the email address as an alias in the “username” field in the person doc so the email address can be used for authentication even if the “fewer name variations” option is used
