Login Failure: "Instant messaging server name not found"

I have one user with this issue. Login fails every morning after startup and the user cannot login in until about 1 hour later.

The IM server is specified in the users p doc as the domino server name and is specified in the local location doc as the fully qualified host name.

Why should login only be a problem at this time of the day?

Any ideas would be appreciated.
