Lock out a user

Hi

I am trying to authenticate Domino users from a JNDI/LDAP based program. i want to lock out a user so that if unauthorised user try to access with invalid password that user has to be locked out. As per the Domino Documentaion i did the following step.

  1. For selected user i kept the check password as Lockout ID.

Is there any thing i have to do after this setting. I am not able to lock out even after several invalid logins. Please help me in this what are the steps i have to follow inorder to lock out a particular unauthorised user.
