We are in the process of upgading several Notes 6.5 to 8.5 and have problems switching locations. When we change locations within the Home Page, nothing happens. this occurs when using the quick change at the bottom of Notes screen and with the File > Locations > Switch to Location. Is this an error in Notes or something that I haven’t set-up properly? I am using a round about approach that is starting to get old.

If you are talking about the home page automatically changing (to a different home page) when switching location, this is a known issue which occurs only in the Standard client.

… we use locations to control whether a user opens a db from their mail server or on local. It has always been unreliablke but is worse than ever in 8.5 and is causing us a lot of problems
