Upon starting Notes the Welcome Page displays a Location of “none”. If you click on the Location Popup the locations Island and Network are displayed but “edit current” does not display. You can switch to Island or Network and all works fine.
The PAB has ONLY two locations, Island and Network. There is no Location Doc named none.
Has anyone seen this and if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks in advance.
Subject: Set the Location= in the NOTES.INI
It means that no location is set in the NOTES.INI file…
From the notes INI reference:
Location=Greg,A0A,CN=Admin User/O=ABC
^Location Name
^note id of the document defining this location in names.nsf
^user who used this location
i.e. here’s mine:
Location=Office (Network),9D6,CN=My Name/O=My O

Does this happen all the time? I’ve seen that happen when I delete the location document from the PAB that I last used. Then I just chose a location doc from the pop-up list, and that stuck for all subsequent launches of Notes.If you set it to island or network does it stay there?
Also, are any of those location docs set to be used by only a specific user (e.g., one whose ID you aren’t using)?
