When I start Notes, the current location is always set to “None”, even if I have changed it during the last session. The notes.ini does contain a “Location” variable that seems correctly set.
This is a pain… any idea?

Does your Notes user have all the rights they need to ‘write’ changes to the Notes\Data directory?
I have seen this situation, and far worse, when an ‘Admin’ person installed the software for another user who has not been given the same rights. It’s something to do with the user profiles in Windows 2000 and, I presume, XP.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I have all rights, and my notes.ini gets changed when needed.

I just want to chime in here to say that I have had this problem also with 6.5.3 and 6.5.4. It only occurs when I have Single Login enabled.
