Location Button help required!

Hello,

I wonder if there are any developers out there that may be able to assist me with creating a new location button. Ideally I need this to go via a button as this neeeds to be deployed globally. Each User is currenly replicating through a Internet location and I am looking to create another location called “office”. This will enable them to replicate on the WAN. No connection documents are required as DNS is used globally.

So in simple terms this is what I am looking for:

Click a button, It creates an New Office location, populates their server tab from the current server tab information in their existing location document. Creates info on the mail tab location and fills all other fields as required. Can you help me?

typically there is already an “Office” location created by default when the client is installed so unless you have a custom install or deleted the original office location it should already be there.

otherwise, the easiest way to accomplish what you want is to grab the Internet location and copy it then just manipulate the existing fields with the new values that you require.
