I’m working on a data consolidation project involving several databases across multiple Domino servers (Both R5 and R6). Part of the project involves obtaining an inventory of the Domino servers on the LAN from an i386 machine running only the Lotus Notes client (WinXP O/S). Our network topology changes periodically, so I need an automated solution to obtain the IP addresses of all reachable Domino servers from a given network access point. My initial thought is to construct a multicast/ unicast packet prompting a response from each of the Domino servers in receipt of that packet. Is there a tool/ API/ method that achieves this objective (does not need to necessarily follow the above methodology)?

There is an API for this, but that discovers the domino servers for only one domain, the domain for which the notes client where you are running the application is configured - NSGetServerList.- Shailesh
