Local Settings\Temp\Notesxxxxx eating my hard drive!

Why is Notes consuming 896 MB across 28,937 teeny tiny files in this directory? It bollixed my backup (until I filtered it), and slows any disk scanning software like Ad-Aware to a crawl. It also seems like an outrageous amount of disk storage to be consumed this way!

Hmm, on some systems it is a convention to delete all files in the system temp directory upon login/logout. It would fix this problem also.
