I have a LotusScript agent which is set to run on my local machine. I have the Enable Scheduled Local Agents checkmarked, and have gone through the Agent FAQ troubleshooting. I think I know what the problem is with my agent - am just hoping that someone can give me a viable solution …
I have two machines with local replicas, and work on both simultaneously. One is my “agent” machine - this is the one that has local scheduled agents enabled, and is the one that I saved my agent on. The other is my “work” machine - I use both so that when the “agent” machine is running a non-scheduled agent that ties it up, I won’t lose productivity.
The local scheduled agent that I have on the “agent” machine seems to work fine - until I access the database on my “work” machine (which is not enabled for agents). That seems to halt the schedule. Does anyone know if this is true - that you can’t have two local replicas without messing up a local scheduled agent? Do I have to delete one of the replicas? Or just go into the “agent” machine every time I leave work (the agent runs at night), and save the agent there?
Thanks!
