Local replication problems

Hopefully, one of you experts can help me on this one: we have several remote users who have intermittent replication problems to their local clients. Currently I have two who don’t seem to properly replicate their outgoing mail (mail.box) Their mail files work fine, in that mail shows as sent, but the mail fails to move from their local mail.box. Both users have been operating with 6.5 for a couple of months, one an upgrade from 6.0.1, the other a new install directly to 6.5.

In one case, the user accessed his mail from another machine, and the mail flows just fine, indicating (I think) it is client based problem rather than on the server. I have also had several users having problems replicating one particular (non mail) database, which may or may not be the same problem.

Anyone with any suggestions, at least on the mail problem?

Subject: Local replication problems

Check the replicator tab to ensure that the mail.box is on it. If it is not, outgoing e-mail will not replicate to the server. Most cases when this happens, the mail.box db icon is not on workspace. Adding it back will also put it onto the replicator tab.

Alternative method is the open mail.box and drag it onto replicator tab.
