Local network connection document

Last month I was asked to set up notes on a PC in our office and ship it to an office in NY. I installed the client and everything appeared to work fine when I had it in our office. When it got there the user was unable to log in and kept receiving the error “Remote system not responding”

I had her run a TCP/IP trace and when it would check the “Local network connection document” it was verifying the wrong IP address. I then realized I was logged into the network as myself and not her, causing notes to read my IP address. I’m not 100% sure that this is the reason for the error we’re getting but it’d seem to be a starting point. My question is how do I get to this local network connection document to edit the address? Or would this not make a difference either way?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Subject: Local network connection document

If you and NY users are connecting to the same Domino server. This would not make difference. If she is connecting to different server located locally at NY. Then you will have to change IP address in connection document to the local server IP.
