Local directory access

I want to give access to a local directory when the client is disconnected from the network. When I write an email, I have only access to the entries in my personal address book.

I want to cascade another directory which contains all our customers contacts in it but only when I am disconnected from the network.

Thanks for you help

Subject: Local directory access

Hi,

sorry but I dont think that there is a setting that, when you change your location the number

of local addressbooks get changed.

However you can easily have an additional local addresbook but this will be shown all the time.

To do this simply create a local replica of the directory and then choose File-Preferences-UserPreferences-Mail

and in the field “Local addessbooks” add the filepath of you new database (separate it with a comma)

The only thing how you could achieve exactly what you want is to have two notes.ini-files (one with the additional

addressbook and one without it). But if you would like to “swicht” then you would need to restart your notes-client.

I hope that this makes some sense.

If not write for more information.

Bye
