Local Cache initialisation failed with error : 549 - Document has been deleted

I have two servers replicating every 15 mins, randomly either one of the server crashes. In the log.nsf on both the machines I see these line Local Cache initialisation failed with error : 549 - Document has been deleted couple of times and then the server crashes.

Could someone help me to understand about this error message ?

Thanks

Subject: Local Cache initialisation failed with error : 549 - Document has been deleted

Error: "McAfee Configuration Manager: Local Cache initialization failed with error: 549 - document has been deleted"

Goal and/or Problem Description

Error: “McAfee Configuration Manager: Local Cache initialization failed with error: 549 - document has been deleted”

Deleting a large group of ePO created On-Demand Scans causes an error to be generated at the Lotus Domino Console

Error occurs while deleting multiple ePO created On-Demand documents locally in GSDCONFIG

The error is displayed on the Lotus Domino Console and is logged in the Lotus Domino LOG.NSF

Problem Environment

McAfee GroupShield 5.2 for Domino

McAfee GroupShield 5.2.1 for Domino

Lotus Domino

Microsoft Windows NT

Microsoft Windows 2000

Changes affecting this Problem

Selected a large number of ePO created On-Demand documents and deleted them.

Cause of this Problem

This is caused by a defect in the GroupShield product. The problem will not be seen by a large number of customers because this error will only be seen when a large number of documents have built up (50+). Since few customers manage GSD 5.2.1 via ePO and the fact that fewer create On-Demand documents is why this issue is being fixed in the next release GSD 5.3 planned for release in late December 2003.

Solution 1:

Select a smaller number of documents to delete. Groups of 30 - 40 documents have not shown this to be a problem.
