Hello,I have a question. I currently have two clusters one for mail one for applications. I am using the home mail server setting for load balancing the mail servers. (The users work from replicas). For the application cluster however I would like to use the Server_MAXUSERS and Server_AvilabilityThreashold paramenters but not at the cost of failover. I am told that for example I have the server get to allow only a maximum amount of users of say 100 and one of the servers is unavailable the 101st user will not failover. Same scenario is the availability threashold is reached. Is there a way to ignore these if the other member is down? Or could it be configured so that a periodic script runs in an agent checking for the other member and if not found runs a series if Set Configs to remove or increase these settings?

I don’t think there’s any other threshold setting to handle what you are describing. Your idea of using agents (almost like a “heartbeat” prorgam) could work, but I think the maxusers setting should only be relied on if you’ve got more than 2 servers in your cluster.
