LN can not Logon to sametime server

Can not Logon to sametime server via LN IM. I have enabled IM_Request_Dump=17 but this provides no reason:

Server: sametime.domain.com

User: Firstname Lastname/org

How to determine the reason? The same Username can logon to the same sametime server via HTTP. Lotus Notes IM can not login. The same workstation can logon with different username. Reset user name in Lotus Notes Sametime properties does not help. Basic client behaves the same like normal client.

Sametime server 8.5 runs on Domino 8.5. Lotus Notes client 8.5 FP2.

How to determine the reason?

I always make sure in the location doc under servers that the sametime server is changed from the notes name to the dns name or IP address. Based on your post, this already may be set right but that’s the first thing I always check and change.

Subject: Try all possible user’s usernames + email

This happen often at our place. Try using user’s e-mail address. If that fails, try every other username listed in person document.
