Is there a way to generate a list of agents (today) that are going to run sometime in the future? For example, I am going to conduct a Change Control this Saturday, and I’d like to know which agents are scheduled to run between 11am and 5pm.

In the server console you can use the commandtell amgr schedule

this will generate the list of all agents scheduled to run for the current day

From the Notes-Admin help:

Shows the schedule for all agents scheduled to run for the current day. In addition, the command shows the agent trigger type, the time the agent is scheduled to run, the name of the agent, and the name of the database on which the database runs. Checking the Agent Manager schedule lets you see if an agent is waiting in one of the Agent Manager queues.

Agent Manager queues:

E - Agents eligible to run

S - Agents scheduled to run

V - Event-triggered agents waiting for their events to occur

Trigger types:

S - Agent is scheduled to run

M - Agent is a new mail-triggered agent

U - Agent is a new/updated document-triggered agent

Thanks Ernesto, I was able to get the information I was looking for by examining the Misc. Events in LOG.NSF for any instance of “Amgr:”.

We have a utility you can freely download from our website which goes out and scans all databases on the specified server(s) for agents. It gathers information on both Shared, Private and Scheduled agents & logs them.

You can then see information about each agent such as:

  • Agent scheduled time

  • Frequency

  • Who enabled the agent

  • Examine mailfile specific agents

  • And more…

You can change various agent parameters, enable / disable agents, delete agents, etc.

Detection, reporting and cleanup of orphaned agent data notes is also available.
