Hello Forum,I’m a second year Networking student without deep Notes (or Linux) experience. I have a class project to setup a Notes environment on Linux. I installed Domino on a clean install RedHat 7.3 server. Everything has gone to plan so far. Now I have to configure this first server. The book recommends a remote setup from an Administration client. I assume that must be a Windows box since there doesnt seem to be a Linux client yet???
Can someone tell me if I must first install and setup a Samba server on the Notes server machine to provide the integration with a Win (2K) client. Or is Domino smart enough that a Notes windows client can talk to a Linux Domino server just using tcp/ip?
