I have a new Linux box up and running with 6.0.1. It’s been in production for 2 months and I couldn’t be more pleased with its performance and reliability.
I have the domain search/indexer running on it, but I can’t figure out how to get access to file systems on NT servers for the indexer. Mapping a drive on a Domino server running NT to another NT file server is easy. With Linux, you can’t map a drive. How do I handle this for the indexer?
If anyone has had success with this, or can offer ideas, it would be most appreciated.

just about to try this myself…
reckon that i’ll have to use smbmount on the linux system to mount the nt share.
we have our other linux boxes setup the same way to access our nas units (embedded win2k). works a treat - better than nfs sharing anyway

FYI - Finally had to open a call with IBM/Lotus when I tried every combination of File System configs in catalog.nsf. Anyway, according to them, there’s a bug in the Linux version <6.02 that prevents the server from accessing an external file system.
I’m waiting to see if it’s true. The first Linux box to be upgraded from 6.01 to 6.02 is on Thursday a.m. I hope this fixes my problem.
