Linux 6.0.2CF1 Upgrade Failed

I have tried to upgrade my 6.0.1CF1 to 6.0.2CF2 (RH9) with the incremental update. After accepting the license, the script terminates without any error message.

There is a nuish.err file:

Not an ARRAY reference at /tmp/linux/tools/lib/UIC_Incr.pm line 292

Any hints what might cause this?

Thank you for your support.

I had the same problem.Solved it this way:

  • Did a clean 6.0.1 (not 6.0.1CF1!) install

  • Used the incremental installer that failed before to upgrade to 6.0.2CF1

Worked for me. Didn’t like it though

Looks like the complete update process is getting a litte “more complicated” these days.

This is an anoying experience.

I had a similar problem… Simply revert back to 6.0.1 from whichever CF you’re on, then apply the 6.0.2 CF1 patch-- it’ll work then.

How do you revert from 6.0.1CF1 to 6.0.1? Simply by starting the upgrade to 6.0.1CF1 again (as in Win32)?

Thank you for your support.

Yes, just re-run the 601CF1 incremental installer. It will eventually ask you
which version to revert to, showing you 60010 as the option. That’s what ya
want. Accept and it will revert you back to 6.0.1.
