Subject: Security Feature
This is a security feature called Active Content Filtering. It deactivates any content that could be harmfull. For instance I could send you code that would execute with your privs on your domino server by sending you a url link to your server. Since you are clicking it it is executing as you and maybe doing some bad things. You can turn this off though if you like to live on the edge. Here is the doc from the Admin Help db:
Use the NOTES.INI variable, iNotes_WA_DisableActCntSecurity, to disable the Active Content Filter. A setting of 1 disables the filter. Setting this variable to 0 (or omitting it from the server’s NOTES.INI file) enables the filter.
The Active Content Filter is intended to remove potentially harmful active content (JavaScript, Java, ActiveX) from HTML in mail messages prior to display in a browser. Active content filtering can reduce server performance because it requires a full parse of HTML content and a rewrite of the content.

I’m not sure on this one… ‘Actve content’ (such as html code in the page) is turned off, as Robert said. However, URLs in an email in iNotes work fine for me with no changes at all. They appear blue, underlined, are clickable, and start a new window. There shouldn’t be a problem with URLs, since you have to click to ‘run’ it, just like an attachment (yeah, I know there are special cases to get around this…).
