If a field has a certain value in this first form, then I want a 2nd form composed, and both these forms will be linked together via Document number.
Is it possible to pass the document number from the first document to the second document? If so, how?

Just put the field on the second form (same name computed evaluating to itself) and turn on the form property “Formulas inherit values from selected document” (second tab)

U named both fields DocNO, with the second one computed, selected formulas inherit values from selected document, and In the formula window for the 2nd DocNO, i typed DocNO.
The 2nd field is still blank

How is the second document getting composed? (via a button, code…) or from a view? or from the still open 1st document?
