Link between a document and the folder it is filed in

I need to find a document (e-mail) for which I don’t remember in which folder I have filed it.So, I look in “All Views”, where I can find it easily with other criterias (date, name, etc…).

Now I have found it, I would like to find a way to know in which folder it has been filed.

Does anybody have an idea ?

Subject: Sneeky way??

Well assuming all the folders are converted to R6 design, and further assuming the database is all Read…you could go to All Docs and mark that one msg as unread…then the folder it’s in should turn to BOLD with (1) and you’ll know.

Otherwise there is code to do this - see Technote 1092899.

In R7 there is a new formula that will do this (@Command DiscoverFolders)
