I am experiencing a problem with Notes processes still appearing in Task Manager even after Notes has been closed. This causes problems with subsequent attempts to load Notes.
On startup, I have nslsvice.exe automatically loaded via policy. When I launch Notes, notes2.exe and nlnotes.exe load and then ntaskldr.exe. When I close Notes, ntaskldr.exe closes and sometimes the other two processes are removed, but sometimes not.
Has anyone else seen this?

Sometimes the processes are slow to shutdown. Are there many other processes running on the PC that may slow down the PC in general? Lastly, I have seen what you describe happen on occasion but not as a regular occurrence.

I’m experiencing the same, but I cannot nail down a pattern. Sometimes I will have those processes hanging around well after 10 mins of notes close, but then others, they shut down within 1 min of close.
thought it may be a win7 client issue… so far, it hasn’t lead to any problems though.
