Line total in a view

Hi, I would like to count the number of line under a category in a view. In my form there are Reader field. So when the user is not authorise to read the data, it will not be diplay on screen i choose ‘Don’t show empty categories’. But the line total in the fist column still display the total line. Is there anyway i can count the line and display the correct number in the column?

Column 1 Column 2

2 Item A —> the count shd

1 Customer 1 be 1

1 Item B

1 Customer 2

–

3 —> Shd be 2

It’s early so I may not understand your problem correctly :slight_smile: but make your view a categorized view with a cnt field to the right.

put the value of 1 in the cnt column and total it…

Hi, that’s what i did in my view. The problem is there is a reader field in my form. So i may not be able to read all the data. But the total did not show me the line i see in the view, but the total line created under that form.
