In a document, I added a “paste special” link to an excel document. So if I edit the excel sheet, the info on the document is updated.
But only a limited number of columns are pasted.
If I choose to change the objects’ display properties to Bitmap, it does show all the columns, but the document’s size is very large.
I want to know if there is a limit on pasting an object link and is it a MS Office limit or a Lotus Notes limit.

I get all of the columns - how many are you pasting? And I’m assuimg that you’ve chosen to display as an Excel sheet, not as Rich Text?

I am pasting more than 16 columns, but if you change the column width in excel, you get more than 16 on the display. I assume the limit is on the pasting of the object link itself.
I am pasting it as an Excel sheet. When pasting it as Rich Text, the layout/format is not kept.
I also tested the link in MS Word and had a similar effect(I did the test on the rows)

I can paste 32+ columns no problemperhaps it is down to column widths?
If you’re having the same issue in MSWord, that implies that Excel (OLE Server) decides how may columns it will display in the OLE Client?
