hi Can any one tell me the Maximum number of documents in a collection . I mean the limit for the collection object.

I believe this is memory limited. If you’re remotely reaching those limits, consider simply using a view, if possible, as your document (?) collection and walking the view. If you set view.AutoUpdate = False then performance is very good.
