Subject: Domino + LEI + Quickr = more dependencies
Firstly, I don’t know of any specific reason for a blanket prohibition on this.
But my reasons to proceed with caution would include:
Both Quickr and LEI can demand considerable processor resources and memory (depending on how they’re loaded and what they’re doing). Are you willing to have your Quickr users see slower responses when LEI is processing a large activity?
Both LEI and Quickr are tied to specific releases of Domino. Putting both on the same server means you will have to upgrade in lock step. If you run into an LEI or Quickr issue that requires a particular Domino upgrade or hotfix, you may be constrained by the upgrade restrictions of the other product.
All add-on products have the potential to require specific configurations (e.g. specific libraries in JavaUserClasses). There’s always the chance that this kind of thing might not be compatible between LEI and Quickr.
