How do you make this formula work in lotus script:@left(“string”;150).
I need to only use the first 150 characters in a string.
Could someone please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

Subject: @left formula in Lotus script
Dim StringExpr as StringStringExpr = Left(“string”, 150)
Subject: RE: @left formula in Lotus script
That will only take the first 150 characters of the word “string”
I think you meant to say something like:
Dim StringExpr as String
StringExpr = Left(Doc.FieldName(0), 150)

LOL - I was assuming she would be passing a string into the expression. ![]()
