LDAPServer is not responding

We have recently changed from using Domino Directory as our authentication model to Domino LDAP for authentication with Sametime8.5.

The problem is that the server concole keeps reporting that

Server Task LDAP Server XXXXX is not responding.

The XXXXX is the server the LDAP is on…which is itself.

Now it is still running and authenticating even though this error appears.

Have tried googling it but to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Subject: Check notes.ini

Make sure that the 1st line is “in-tact” (i.e. [Notes] ) & check for any bogus parameters.

No bogus parameters either that I could see. Very strange…

Subject: Task check

The “not responding” is referring to the task, not the network. You have DDM probe enabled for checking LDAP task or perhaps an old style Event Generator.
