Since we moved from using the Domino Directory to LDAP for Instant Messaging authentication, we now longer have awareness in the users mail files (6.5.1 template).
We are using the functionality of the Notes client, and signon is the common name (ie Paul Benwell). However awareness within mail does not exist for full canonical names.
I have read (and reread) the various manuals, white papers and redbooks and am just lost. Can anyone give me a straight easy answer.
