Layers, Rich Text Lite And Computed Rich Text fields

Hello all! Here’s the scenario.

  1. I have a layer with editable fields on a form.

  2. On that layer I have a Rich Text Lite field for attachments.

  3. The rich text lite field has a fieldname of chgAttachments.

  4. On the form I have a computed Rich Text field with a default value of chgAttachments.

  5. On documents that were created with a previous version of the form, the attachments show up in the Computed Rich Text field, on new documents the attachment does not show up in the Computed Rich Text field.

  6. To hide the layer after attaching a document(s) here is the formula I use to do that:

So, my question is this, how can I get attachments that were attached via a control in a Rich Text Lite field to show up in a computed Rich Text field on the same form? The attachments don’t even show up at the bottom of the document. If I look in the document properties there is a $FILE field indicating that an attachment is present.
