When server based archiving (Compact -A) has been done on a specific file, you can find in your archive profile the last date this was done (Basics tab under “Most Recent Archive History”). I wonder where this date is stored. When you delete the Archive profile, the date is still the same after recreating a new profile document. Any ideas?
Some background information:
In our environment we use server based archiving. We’ve noticed that sometimes some documents are not archived correctly (for instance when a server crashed during an archive attempt of a database). The next time however when archiving runs, these documents are skipped and Compact -A will never pick them up again anymore. I would like to be able to reset this date to see what happens.
