Every week or so I am getting the following message on one of my servers when users are trying to search on a full text indexed database:
“Full text error - failure to init KV filter”.
Taking the server down, fixes the problem temporaraly, but it is not a permanent solution.
Anybody know what that means?
I have tried fixup, etc. on the db, again - it does not fix the problem.

I’m having tha same problem on muliple db’s on a server. Have tried the copying of the k*.dll files and have run updall -X. The server crashed in a memory error. My pagingfile is 4092 mb. It should be enough. After a restart of the server, it seems to be solved, but the experience of others on the forums seems to be that it returns.

You can try to run updall -X on the server. This should rebuild all the full text indexes. I was told by support this would help fix those errors. Alas, it has not, I have had those errors cause the server to hang. I am still looking for a solution.
