Hi all,
I have move few application from the old server to the new server. The old servera and the new server have a differrent name. My problem here is that, the application keep looking for the old server path which is already retired and cannot be found and said that the server is not responding.
This problem causing my application become very slow because it will always refer to the old server.
Can anybody help me with this.

Subject: a couple of things to check
Agents - do you have any scheduled agents in these apps. and if so are they still scheduled on the ‘old’ server?2. Is the Administration Server (Advanced tab on ACL) set to the ‘old’ server?
Do you have any configuration in which a server is specified, e.e.g profile documents. It could be that your ‘old’ server is mentioned on them.
The other thing to check is do any of the documents on your apps have the ‘old’ server in any of their fields? It might need you to refresh all the data.

Have had problems like this where simple actions are used in navigators, etc to open other navigators or forms. I never use them for this reason. Replace them with @Commands to open the elements you want.

Make sure that the code is not hardcoded with the old server name/path.
