Junk mail rule

Hi,

Is it possible to modify the junk mail rule in the mail template so all user can receive the changes.

I want the rule to be like:

When Sender or Internet domain is in the blocked Senders list

OR

Subject contains [SPAM]

THEN

Move to junk mail

Thank you.

Why not just use a server-side rule and not deliver SPAM messages at all? Just a thought.

Hi,

We want to use the feature in the Symantec Gateway call Heuristic Detection that tag email as spam. I would prefer to deliver the email in their Junk mail folder (in case that legitimate email are tag)

Thank you!

I can’t think of a simple way to deploy a rule to existing mail files. You can try creating a pre-delivery agent that would handle this process. An agent, being a design element, will get pushed down to the existing mail files as a part of design refresh.

Hi,

I found a solution to my problem. I was able to modify the Junk mail rule but it was’t working.

Instead, when the mail database is open, I verify if my spam rule exist and if not, I create a new rule using Lotusscript.

Thank you.

Hi Alexandre,

If your solution is working can you show the agent where I can deploy the mail rules to all users globally in server.
