Thanks for trying to help me.
But I’m new at developping for Lotus.
I’m a trainee developping a tool that generates an xml-file based on info (like aclinfo, DBinfo, forminfo, …) that users put in a form. Then the tool generates a new simple DB (based on the xlm-file - or rather dxl-file) that users can use on a PDA by example.
This means I’m also new at the LDD, and I’m sorry to say I’m having trouble finding the documents you mentionned.
I know I should try to limit my responses, but I’d appreciate it if you could show me the way a bit more.

I don’t really have an agent problem. I just need to know how I can find out what’s going wrong when I import the dxl-file… I mean: why the acl won’t update, while the inserting of views and folders works…

I try to help many people, so I am not sure what specific document you are referring to. It is best to post a reply on the same main topic where our discussion happened, this way there is context for the follow-up. In your follow up you mentioned dxl, so I think you might be referring to the LotusShere demo and SandBox?
YOu will see a link to Sandbox on the left, in the blue shaded area:

And one the first screen it allows you to search, so you can enter my name and hopefully the title will be obvious.
I just tried it. If you search on my last name you will find both the presentation and the demo database.

I solved the problem. I had to adjust the ACLImportOption from update to replace!I’m happy now, tx for the effort! Ken
