"Join web conference" not including protocol

We have just installed Sametime on our newly upgraded Domino 8.5 FP1 server.

Sametime works fine via the web interface, and the integrated client works. However when we schedule an “Online Meeting” via the Notes client, the link that it presents is always points to, for example “acme.com/servlet/stcal?apptunid…” with no protocol.

I figured out that it gets the host name from the “notes network ports” settings, however obviously don’t want to be putting a protocol in there.

Is there a way to explicitly tell it to use HTTP or HTTPS somewhere? I am sure it is something really dumb that I am missing, but have run out of ideas.

Hi Trent, We are unable to determine what the correct protocol is supposed to be for the Sametime URL so we have put in functionality to set a Notes.INI setting that will be used when computing the URL. See the following technote.
