Join us for an XPages Deep-dive Webcast on June 17, 2010

If you are interested in learning more about deeper topics related to XPages, you will not want to miss the IBM Webcast on June 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. EDT: A Deep-dive on Building Lotus Domino Applications with XPages. Register now at: IBM - United States.

If you have already had an introduction to XPages, and maybe even built some simple XPages, now its time take a deeper dive by exploring how a real world application was developed. Learn how to leverage the Dojo JavaScript library, use built-in Ajax services, impart business logic using server-side JavaScript and call Java. You will also see how to customize the look and feel of your application using themes and custom controls. We will also extend the application to work in with other Web artifacts a composite application. The Domino Discussion application will be used for this deep dive which means you will have the source available to you for further exploration.

We have recently begun working on an updated design for our developerWorks Lotus forums that was originally based on the Domino Discussion application that will be examined during this Webcast. Some of the features that will be highlighted in the Webcast will not available until Domino 8.5.2 is available, but this will give your a glimpse at the future of our forum design!

Check out a sample forum demonstrating a first iteration of our design at http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/xpagesforumtrial.nsf. Feel free to post comments in that forum, or if you have specific feedback, send email to dwlotus@us.ibm.com.

Thank you,

Steven Frank
