Javascript Validation Problem-Please can you help me?

Can anybody help me with Javascript (I`m not a professional)

The problem:

I have 2 fields: date and time.(in a web-application)

The validation should be:

If field date= the 21th of any month of the year

and field time is between 22.30 in the evening and 2.00 in the morning (MEZ)

then alert “It is not possible to make a task in this range”

How can I do this?

Hi,

In web client your date (time) field is a text value. If you want check this value you must convert in Javascript date (time) object with Date() method like this :

var myDate = new Date(year, month, day, hour, minute, second)

after you can use JS method for work with this date object

Example :

var myDate = new Date(2006, 12, 25, 20, 15, 30)

//returns something like this : Mon, 25 Dec 2006 20:15:30 GMT

myDate.getDate() returns 25
