JavaScript Question

Is there a Javascript equivalent to the Like operator in LotusScript? For example, if I have the following:

var test:=“http:\\test\mydatabase.nsf”

If I want to find out if “test” exists in the path, how could I do this in javascript? I know I can use window.location.href to find out the full url; however, I also want to test the URL for the existence of the string, “test”. Any help would be appreciated? Thanks!

var found = test.indexOf(‘test’);

Check the return value of found. If it is -1 then it does not exist in the target string.
