I am trying to compile example: Processing XML and when it gets to line: org.w3c.dom.Document domdoc = me.parseXML(false);
I get the following error: Javaagent.Java: Class org.w3c.dom.Document not found.
Would you know what I should do?
Tx.

obviously it can’t find the class org.w3c.dom.Document. make sure that the jar file containing this class is found in the classpath. add it to the agent or to the javauserclasses ini parameter.

How can I do that? Where can I find these files, and where should I place them? I am using Lotus Notes R6.

here’s a link to the download for the org.w3c.dom package: https://jaxp.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=4584&expandFolder=4584&folderID=0
you can add the jar file to the agent by pressing the ‘edit project’ button or put them to the server and add them to the javauserclasses ini variable. Check out the designer help on that.
I’d definitely recommend reading up and practising java outside of notes because it can be a pretty frustrating activity.
