Just to let you know that I’ve installed Beta 2 onto Ubuntu version 8.04 (Hardy Heron) and I’m unable to view any emails in my mail database (sent, draft, inbox etc)
I get the error
An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
java.lang.NullPointerException
Unfortunately the log.nsf contains no details.
Can anyone recommend which log the error message may be referring to, and if there is a resolution to this issue?
In the interim I shall use the Web Interface and an older notes client on a Windows PC.
add the settings below to \IBM\Lotus\Notes\Data\workspace.config\rcpinstall.properties:
com.ibm.csi.level=FINEST
com.ibm.csi.notes.level=FINEST
com.ibm.rcp.csiviews.level=FINE
I performed a complete uninstall, used chowner in order to set permissions to remove all the installed files, and followed up with a clean installation.
I now don’t have the problem, will keep the forum updated on anything else I find out.
Thanks for your advice though, will consider the info in the future if necessary.
