java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: lotus.notes.apps.viewapplet.ViewApplet.class

We are having a web page on our domino 5 server. When some people are trying to enter the page they get a grey box with this info java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: lotus.notes.apps.viewapplet.ViewApplet.class

It is only users that have java ver 1.3.1_02 installed that have this problem. I have found out that domino 5 does not support that version of java. Those users that have that java version install need it for another aplication.

My question is. Does domino 6 support that java version?

I guess that the problem is a server problem. Did you add the ncso.jar file to your server’s classpath ?

PS : R5 supports 1.1.8 and R6 1.3.1
