I am having a problem trying to create a simple XPage using the Chris Toohey tutorial to build an XPage based on the “My Contacts - people” view. When dragging a data source object onto the XPage the error below occurs

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.

com.ibm.designer.domino.scripting.data.AbstractScriptData$JavaScriptObject incompatible with com.ibm.designer.domino.scripting.published.DesignerPublishedObject

Any ideas? Also, where do I find the error log it is referring to?

Hi,

I don’t know about your specific error.

But for the error logs, probably Notes\Data\workspace\logs\error-log-.xml and trace-log-.xml is the place to look in for.
